Music in the City

11 Jul, 2017

Join us Saturday night, October 7, 2017 at The Fine Line in Minneapolis. Kick off this celebration of Herzl Camp at our Sponsors-Only Pre-party, cheer on our 2017 Hall of Fame inductees, and discover a musician who is almost as shticky as Herzl Camp!

Our headliner, Eric Hutchinson’s 2008 single “Rock & Roll” earned him his first gold record in the US and became a #1 hit. Best known for  “Rock & Roll”, “OK, It’s Alright With Me”, “Watching You Watch Him” & “Tell the World”, Hutchinson has received up-and-coming artist awards from AOL, Yahoo!, MSN and VH1.  Eric is SOLD OUT at the Zoo this summer so don’t miss your chance to see him close up and personal in this intimate venue!

Chairs Elly and Mike Zweigbaum and Honorary Co-Chairs Amy and Todd Geller, are working to “help Herzl hit a high note”, hoping to raise over $300,000 for camp programs, services, and scholarships.  Sponsorships begin at $500 (Discounted to $180/$90 for friends under 35).  Learn more here.

New! The whole family can celebrate and support Herzl Camp!  We’re throwing a Kids Party for children and teens ages 8-14 at the Sabes JCC at the same time as Music in the City.  The party will feature a live band, camp sports and games, dinner and chipwiches!  Camp staff and Ozrim will staff the evening. Tickets are $10 each or included in your sponsorship.

The evening kick off with a sponsors-only pre-party featuring heavy appetizers and open bar at 6:30 pm. Doors open for general admission ticketholders at 8 pm.
