Financial aid and scholarships are available from many different resources including synagogues, Hebrew schools, local Federations and private funders. Reach out to the Jewish agencies and institutions in your community to learn more about scholarship options available in your area.

  • Foundation for Jewish Camp: FJC Grants & Scholarships
    A national organization that advocates for and supports Jewish camps, with numerous grants and scholarships available.
  • Jewish Federations: Check Your Local Federation
    Many Federations offer their own camp scholarships. Each has its own process and timeline, be sure to check the one closest to you.
  • Jewish Family and Children’s Service:  
    Some local JFCS organizations offer scholarships to help children attend camp. Check in your city to see if this option is available. For Minnesota residents: Jewish Family and Children Services

If you are concerned about paying for camp, you should apply. Many families think "I don't want to take from others; I'm not as bad off as some." Our camp friends and alumni give scholarships because they want to assist families just like you. Camp is so important to growing engaged and committed Jewish adults. Let us carry some of the financial burden!
Yes, if paying for camp is a burden, please ask for assistance.
Award amounts vary, and depend on a number of factors including income, camp tuition, and other factors. We’ll work with you to ensure you are able to pay for camp.
We protect your privacy in our process; Your name and identifying information is removed before your application is reviewed by our small Scholarship Committee.
We strongly recommend also applying for financial aid through other organizations: If the cost of camp is still a burden, please reach out and we'll look for additional resources to help you. If you've applied for scholarship, you stay in communication with us, and you still don't feel you can afford the tuition, we will not charge you if you withdraw from camp even if it is after the withdrawal deadline.
