The Kadimahniks are on their way back to camp from a successful Kadimah canoe trip!
Every summer, the Kadimahniks spend the beginning of the summer learning how to canoe (j strokes and c strokes!), and then head off on the coveted Kadimah canoe trip. The group spent one day canoeing and the other hiking, and then spent the rest of their time together at the campsite cooking, singing, and bonding. Last night, I had the chance to head out to the campsite where I got to watch the Kadimahniks work together to set up their tents, spend hours cooking their meals, and end the night around the campfire singing songs together. It is always a highlight watching our campers step into leadership roles and come together as a group on their tevas (overnights)!
