Even the heavy dew can’t get us down! Our day took a bit of a turn with the rain coming in, but our staff pulled out the Herzl magic and made it a fun indoor day for the campers.
Campers had opportunities to participate in different activities this afternoon like karaoke and Israeli dancing in the Chadar, board games in the Chadar Basement (our storm shelter which is big enough to fit all of camp in a weather emergency!), book club in the new library space which is in one of the Beit Ruach’s breakout rooms, and basketball in the Beit Ruach’s gym. Israeli dancing was the biggest hit – everyone loved dancing to camp favorites like Golden Boy and Zahav!
We can’t wait to go puddle jumping once the sun is shining again. This has definitely been a fun start to Session Bet!
